Webmaster across the world, I am very excited to announce that there is now a new booming method of online advertisement! I have tried it and it really has changed the way I advertise online. The method is by showing your websites advert to thousands and even millions of targeted RSS subscribers. Ever since I have tried this method I have cut down with Google Adwords and other PPC sites and mainly use RSS submission.
RSS has been around for years but the concept of actually using it for advertisement is brand new. Of course I don’t manually submit my ad to thousands of RSS feeds, I let a piece of software do that automatically for me. I get about 2 – 5 thousand unique visitors a week using this method.
As a webmaster I do get sick of expensive and very time consuming methods of online advertising. One method is ppc ads which takes very long to get properly set up and have a decent keyword for a cheap bid. Banner ads, video ads, are all quite expensive and I usually find myself spending too much on advertisement because otherwise my site won’t ever be found. Is SEO work the answer? Maybe but i hate having to do SEO work because it is such a long process and the affects are not immediate. If you’re like me and have similar problems then there are other methods that work just as well but do not cost and are quick. One method is very new; it uses RSS feeds to advertise websites. So if 1 feed has 1000 subscribers, if you submit an ad to that feed all 1000 people will see it! Pretty neat isn’t it. Now submitting to one feed isn’t the answer, but submitting to hundreds is especially if it is targeted. Let’s say you submit your websites ad to 500 feeds all with 1000 subscribers, that’s 500,000 people who will see your ad, and the best part is all these feeds are targeted to your websites market using keywords!
